Our team of experts emphasizes on giving your body the inherent ability to heal itself without using drugs or invasive surgery. We focus on the relationship between the spine, the coordination of the nervous system, how this relationship affects the preservation, and restoration of health.
We believe a healthy spine and nervous system are necessary for the maintenance of optimal whole-body health. At Curis Functional Health our chiropractors employ state-of-art chiropractic analysis equipment that test areas of nerve interference in the spine that affect the health of the entire body.
We adjust the spine to restore the motion of the joints, often resulting in pain relief first, followed by improved overall joint motion and health. The adjustment provides great results by itself, but when combined with our other services, the results multiply.
Once the nerve dysfunction is eliminated, your body is able to regain its full potential and heal itself. With our experience and well-rounded education in our chiropractic approach, we are certain that we will find a way to resolve your condition.
To hasten recovery of our patients as quickly and effectively as possible our chiropractors work alongside the other related health care professionals within the clinic but also additional professionals within the Colorado Springs community.
What is Spine Manipulation
It is also referred to as chiropractic adjustment. The purpose of spinal manipulation is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that are restricted in their movement –or hypermobility, as a result of a tissue injury.
Tissue injury can be as a result of a traumatic incidence, for instance, repetitive stresses like an awkward sitting position with poor spinal posture for an extended period of time, or improper lifting of a heavy object.
These cases make the injured tissues undergo chemical and physical changes that can cause inflammation, pain, and reduced function for a person affected.
In such cases, our chiropractors perform adjustments, or manipulation of the affected joint and tissues, restore mobility, thus eliminating muscle stiffness, pain and allowing tissues to heal themselves.
At NorthEnd, all treatment is based on an accurate diagnosis of your pain. Our chiropractors dig deep into your medical history, including any on-going treatment, current medications, and lifestyle factors.
